1. Who we are

Bushido is a hardware-lifecycle knowledge service operated by Intelligent Automation, LLC (the "Operator," "we," "us"), a Managed Cybersecurity Service Provider organized in the State of New Jersey, United States. 2. What we collect

• Signup data: first name, last name, email address, company name, and (for free-mail-domain signups) business phone number.
• Authentication artifacts: single-use email-verification tokens and sign-in tokens, hashed before storage.
• Session metadata: IP address and user-agent for active sessions, used for security and abuse detection.
• Activity: the hardware lookups you perform, your saved history, your pinned items, and any private notes you attach to history entries. Notes are visible only to you.
• Acknowledgment trail: the timestamp, IP address, and version identifier each time you acknowledge our disclaimer to sign in.

3. What we do not collect

• No third-party advertising trackers. No Google Analytics. No Meta pixel. No retargeting beacons.
• No third-party cookies. We use a single first-party session cookie.
• No social-graph data. No contacts. No location beyond the IP address inherent to any HTTP request.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Bushido service (deliver sign-in links, render result pages, save your history).
• Contact you regarding Intelligent Automation, LLC's products and services, including our Argos product suite (PSA, MDR, GRC, IT documentation, and managed-services platforms). You may opt out of marketing contact at any time by replying to any message or emailing [email protected].
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our terms.
• Improve the service. We may analyze aggregate, de-identified usage patterns.

Signups using free-mail domains (gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc.) are flagged in our system for additional sales-team review. This is not a denial of access — your data is treated identically — it is a routing signal for our internal triage.

5. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
• We do not rent, lease, trade, or share your personal information with marketing partners.
• We do not use your information to train AI models. Hardware lookup queries are sent to our LLM provider for synthesis only; no user-identifying data is transmitted to that provider.

6. Retention and deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing [email protected] from the email address on file. We will respond within 30 days. Accounts inactive for 24 consecutive months may be auto-purged.

7. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and equivalents)

Where applicable law grants you rights to access, correct, port, restrict processing of, or delete your personal data, you may exercise those rights by contacting [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

8. Data processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DDoS protection, public DNS proxying.
• Anthropic, PBC — large-language-model API for hardware-record synthesis. Vendor and model strings are transmitted; no user-identifying information is sent.
• SMTP2GO — transactional email delivery for verification and sign-in links.
• DigitalOcean, LLC — virtual-private-server hosting for the Bushido application stack.

9. Cookies

We use one first-party session cookie (bushido_session) to keep you signed in. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. It expires 30 days after issuance. You may clear it from your browser at any time, which will sign you out.

10. International transfers

The Bushido service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
